URBES Seminar Series 2025: Public Administration and Urban Change
The URBES Public Administration and Urban Change Seminar Series will take place as part of the course Public Policy Analysis and will focus on the implementation of public policies from both theoretical and operational perspectives. They will address the dynamics, challenges, and mechanisms that shape policy implementation at national and local levels, with particular attention to urban contexts and innovative processes.

4 December 2025 — Innovating public administration: actors, strategies, policies
Prof. Mattia Casula, University of Bologna
Prof. Casula introduced theoretical approaches to the study of public-policy implementation, focusing on implementation arrangements and on the role of actors and strategies in the implementation process.
10 December 2025 — The urban challenge: governing change and complexity
Prof. Daniele Terzariol, University of Dijon–Paris, BSB École de Commerce
Prof. Terzariol discussed the difficulties linked to the implementation of innovative policies in local contexts, highlighting the complexity of urban policies and the strategies used to address them.
